I purchased this carb to replace the original Walbro in my 89 Ingersoll with a Kohler M12. The only modifications were grinding off the ball/socket joint on the linkage so I could use the original linkage/cable. I installed new gaskets, bolted her up and she fired up instantaneously. I'm very happy that I decided to purchase a new carb as the original was almost 30 years old. I sent Norman an email prior to purchasing to confirm it would fit without any major modifications and he replied the same day. He shipped the part same day and I received it within 2-3 days. I used this #26 on a Kohler K301AQS. Carb fit fine, engine fired right up and ran without having to make any adjustments. Norm, the only problem I had was with the throttle lever. The governor link is the ball joint type, which worked fine. The problem is the lever is a little longer and has a hole in the end for a cable speed control, so you can use it with either type. When you mount the air cleaner base to the carb the extra length of the arm contacts the a/c base and the throttle can't turn. Not to big a deal, just have to trim the end of the lever off with the cable hole in it. It would be nice if you would include this step in your instruction sheet, as you need to have the carb off the engine to do a nice job. This is the second carb I have bought from you and I've been showing everyone your web site.

Received , installed on a WALKER Mower with a M16 Kohler engine, turn the key and here it goes. What else can I say.....

This carb replaced the Walbro on my J-D, bolted on and ran fine with no adjustments. I did have to fill the float bowl, the gravity feed and cranking that tired engine wouldn't pull fuel, but once I had gas in the bowl it fired up perfectly. Great shipping and value from isavetractors!

Prompt shipping, actually had instructions on how to calibrate carb both for idle and wide open. Don't usually get that. Great price.
