*Note: The exhaust valve on K321 come in 2 variations. Older style engines came with an exhaust valve that is smaller than the intake valve. The valve head measures 1 1/8" Diameter. Newer style engines came with the exhaust valve the same size as the intake valve and measures 1 3/8".

Great Customer Service & Quality Product
This is the second time to rebuild this engine, but the first time I used isavetractors.com. My initial attempt to rebuild my K-321 did not last long, as it quickly suffered a rod failure (less than 5 hrs.). This time I discovered that the bore and crank tolerances were out of spec and I had the cylinder bored .01 over and the crank ground down to .01 under. After completing the installation of the rebuild kit and reinstalling the motor, the engine ran like it did years ago. There was a noticeable difference from the previous rebuild. The engine ran much smoother. I did have trouble setting the governor adjustment, and found the factory service manual somewhat misleading. Once I did a quick internet search regarding the runaway at high idle, I found a forum post that explained the governor arm adjustment in much better detail. Now I have a good as new k-321 powered 1980 Power King Tractor. Possible kit improvements would be including a new spark plug and wire, and better instructions for installing the supplied piston rings into the piston. there are two different profile rings and their orientation and location were not clear from the info sheet included. The customer service team was very helpful in determining the specifics of my kit (connecting rod size, bore size, and exhaust valve size).
