Exactly what I wanted for y Cub Cadet 147.

I hadn't removed the starter so I did not know if it had one or two bearings. I also enjoy your web site

    Starter generator rebuild kit.

The parts could be oem except the bearings. They are newer style and will work great. I highly recommend this kit.

    Rebuild kit for starter

I replaced one ball bearing and the brushes. The commentator looked ok but I cleaned the slots between the copper bars. I reused the old springs. I reinstalled and it seems to work fine.

Delco Remy Starter Generator rebuild kit

Excellent product. Good quality. My unit was original to the 50+ year old tractor. Once I got the old bushing at the commutator end out (bugger job!) the new components fit back in perfectly. Can't wait to get unit back on tractor to see the improvement in starting.
