    modification

Posted by Unknown on Oct 17th 2016

I am happy with the carburetor But the choke wouldn't work for my mv20 it was backward and to low for my cable to hook up so I had my small engine mechanic take the old choke shaft/butterfly with some minor machining plus he also used the old throttle mechanism and I had to grind away some of the carb because when tightened down the studs hit the carb and was loose so my time and $25 my tractor runs great

Carburetor for a Kohler KT17 twin

Posted by John Bodling on Sep 19th 2016

Got this for an old Kohler 17 that I have in a 6x6. Rebuilt the old carb and never could it running right. So I ordered this one and all I had to do was put it on and it ran just as it needed! No tuning or adjusting the carburetor. Also the shipping was very fast and got it in three days

Found a hard to find carb

Posted by Michael L Murphy on Jul 13th 2016

Kohler no longer makes these so it was a relief to find one here. Unfortunately it is in high demand because I had to wait about 3 weeks for the company who casts the body. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the lever for the choke was pointing down, I needed it up. I had to pull it out and relocate it. After installing it started right up and was easily adjusted. My 30 year old Hustler is back at it again!

    Replaced Walbro Carb on M20

Posted by Unknown on May 14th 2016

Replaced original OEM Walbro Carb on Magnum 20 with this unit. The engine was backfiring, smoking and in general running badly. The Walbro carb did not have separate adjustments for idle and high speed. I had verified that ignition was not causing the problems. Installed this carb and only had to change the high speed setting (out about 2 1/2 tuns) and the engine now starts and runs great at all RPMs (idle to Wide Open). Couldn't believe the difference the first time used after installation and just let the engine sit for a week. Went out after a week and it started immediately and ran great at all RPMs. Great Power.
