Carburetor for Kohler MV16, M17, M18, MV18, M20, MV20, KT17, KT18, KT19

Carburetor was starting to run rich, adjustments would not fix the problem. Wasted many hours on the net searching for discontinued parts. Found this sight, decided to try a after market carb. VERY happy, starts better, runs good. Had to drill throttle lever hole over sized to accommodate a plastic locking tab.I have a couple of antique engine projects planned in the future, looking forward to purchase additional parts as needed, thanks again.

My 1982 Cub Cadet 682 with the Kohler KT-17 Series II engine was running poorly. The carb was the "non-adjustable" Walbro version and it was surging as well as rough in low idle. Being 35 years old, no new direct replacements were available...until isavetractors evolved. Easy to bolt on and adjust. Quality part. It does require you to use mounting gasket GAS01014 and I also replaced the air filter gasket GAS01015. Lastly, you need to replace the downward facing choke lever with the upward facing choke lever which comes with the kit. Check out their video showing how to change out the choke lever. isavetractors is the only reputable source for NLA Kohler replacement parts that you can trust. Without this new carb, the tractor was on its way to the bone yard to be stripped. Another one saved. isavetractors ROCKS!

Installed this on a Kohler M20 in a Gravely 16G. The throttle and choke lever were close, but nor exact. I removed them from the old carburetor and installed them in the new one. They fit perfectly. This solution only works if there is NO wear on the old shafts. FYI, there is a spring and ball bearing that keeps the choke shaft in position. Don't loose it!!!

Very nice replacement carb for my older Lesco zero turn. It was adjusted correctly out of the box, and needed only slight (1/8) turn of the high end screw to run perfectly. The throttle armature hole needed to be drilled out to a 3/16inch size for my particular application and connection to the governor. All previous hunting and surging is gone and it has full power again. Kohler m20 trin magnum. Great product and fast shipping!

The carburetor bolted right up and the engine runs fine now. However, when I installed the air cleaner unit and again started the engine, I found that the throttle would not move. The air filter housing was pressing on the throttle butterfly arm preventing it's moving. I have to make a one-half inch extension to the vertical intake housing (a bit of a task) to keep the throttle linkage free from obstruction. The original carburetor was out of production and I was not able to find anything on E-bay or other sources. Someone told me to try the "save the tractor", "website. They were very good with defining the correct Kohler carb number and delivery was amazingly quick. I'm happy.

Carb was perfect- I was not-saw kit avail so figured get all gaskets, hose ,etc in one stop-never checked carb was for another model. Received - noted mistake and Norman promptly and efficiently got correct one to me while I returned incorrect model. No delays as usually expect with this type situation-proper carb in hand and installed by Saturday after only making initial change for my mistake noted on Wednesday of same week. Not only quality product at affordable price but, company ethics in serving customer is above and beyond what we currently have been forced to expect. This company puts faith back in Buy American.
