arburetor #16 for Kohler K90 K91 K141 K160 K161 K181 & M8
Just installed this carburetor on my 1968 John Deere 110 garden tractor. After drilling out the governor linkage hole a little and a few adjustments to the low and high idle, it works perfectly.

kohler carburetor
This will work just fine. I've been looking for 1 1/2 yrs. for one. a couple of adj. and it put new life back into this old engine. thanks.

Good fit
Matched the engine. Once i got it primed i had no problems. My tillers running great
-
The holes in the throttle were to small for the govenor connector.
The fuel inlet hole was not taped deep enough to take a fitting. I corrected those two items and it started right up and ran perfect. Thank you

Choke assembly
The carburetor was awesome! I purchased this as a replacement for the original Wheel Horse M8 carb. I was supposed to be able to change over the choke assembly shaft but not so. The manufacturer peened the opposite side of the screws on the butterfly so the screws snapped when we attempted removal. So, after a little cutting and grinding we got the new one to work, albeit backwards but it works.

After some modifications, it worked
Fit the engine as expected. This was on an old Troy-bilt Horse tiller. It has a large round air filter and the choke lever design would not allow the filter housing back to seat on the carb, and all the holes for filter housing retention were not tapped out. Also the 1/8" NPT threads would not accept the fuel intake fitting. Solutions: I retapped/cleaned up the 1"8 NPT threads, and this solved the intake fitting issue. I also tapped threads on the remaining two holes that were needed for the filter housing to screw on. I contacted Isavetractors via their email contact page regarding the possibility of there being a different choke lever style available. They did not respond. Solution: I removed the choke lever from the old carb. The screw holes were a little off, so I modifed the openings a slight amount to get them to fit. I then installed the carb, and fired off first attempt. A little tweaking of the carb upon actual use has made the effort worthwhile considering I could not find another carb to fit my engine. 4 stars because of all the mods needed and no response to my question from vendor.
