Description

iSaveTractors brand carburetor to replace carburetors in Kohler K90, K91, K141, K160, K161, K181, and M8 Magnum Engines!

  • It is a replica of the Carter #16 Carburetor and has a .810” Throttle Bore. 

Our carburetor is fully adjustable, re-buildable, and feature brass floats.

This carburetor comes with 2 choke levers. The choke installed is for the K Series engines, and the inlcuded one is for the Kohler Magnum M8 engine. Installation instructions included.

* Customers have also sucessfully installed this carburetor onto Tecumseh HH100, HH120, and HH140 Engines replacing their original Walbro LME carburetors. The bolt holes line up and just the throttle and choke linkages need to be slightly modified.

    I just got my carburetor put it on and what a difference

    I just got my carburetor put it on and what a difference . I have been fighting with the troy built tiller for two years . put the carb. on and one pull . I only had to bring the idle down . Unbelievable !!! In the past two years I have restored 7 of the troy built tillers this one was given to me . I love it when I could get it running( kind of ). Just want to say I love your you tube video's. And thanks again .

    K181 Carb on Tecumseh HH120

    After screwing around with old Walbro carbs for my Tecumseh hh120, finally decided to try going for this carb since I had seen it would bolt up and work, and sure enough, it did! Once I set the governor for this carb, the engine fired up on the first crank, can't beat it

    Installed on my Troy Bilt Horse tiller with Magnum 8 & it runs great. I gave it 4 stars because i Had to drill & tap one of the air cleaner mounting holes just as some others have mentioned. And contrary to what the instruction sheet says under important specs the air cleaner mounting screws are NOT 10-32, they are 8-32. The instructions should be corrected so someone doesn't mistakenly drill/tap the wrong size. Better yet the manufacturer should make sure these holes are all tapped before leaving the plant.

    Fixed the problem.

    One of the screw holes for the air cleaner had to be drilled and tapped.

    Carburetor K181

    Ran like a champ out of the box. I didn’t try adjusting it for fear of making it run worse. I had to widen the catchment hole for the governor cable/wire, and the port side slotted bolt cannot be tightened with a screw driver, but other than that it installed easily. Very happy. Please do not publish reviewer info.
