The tractor, cub cadet 147, would not start. I figured it to be points so I ordered a set. I put fresh oil in, cleaned and reset carb, then the points and it immediately fired up! I ran it for about an hour then parked it till spring. Generator was only putting out 12.3 volts to the battery so I will need kit for the generator. Sounded like brush noise. Hope it isn’t damaged but will fix it no matter what. I appreciated your prompt delivery of parts.

Did not use condenser because it was different from OEM original one had 3 wires screwed to it new one had 1 wire coming out of it. I am not familiar enough with these engines to put others just to a common ground which I assume that’s what they where ??
