Piston Kit for Kohler KT17, MV16, M18, MV18 Engines

There were no directions in either box, on how to install the rings. In Normans Utubes he says to always check your end gap on the rings. I'm sure glad I did, they overlapped each other. It was like they sent .030 rings , I had to cut them down .020 to make the fit wright, and there not made in the U.S. Other then all this the came in on time and no damage.

My first purchase with iSaveTractors. Have heard great things and seen the support they give the community and was excited to finally purchase from Norman and crew. The pistons and rings arrived promptly and were packaged well. The ring set included a second set of instructions from that detailed the orientation. Mic'd the pistons and they were within factory spec for standard bore. Piston pin is a good fit as well. Good value for the money vs. buying the Kohler original parts which are becoming prohibitively expensive for these old Magnum twins. When I had questions about the rings, Norman was there to assist despite being swamped this time of year. Overall good product and good support. Highly recommend.

I got the standard piston and rings. I bought 2 so they would hopefully weight the same. I put them on the scale and was surprised to see that they were exactly the same weight. Not that its a big deal if they were a little off but it can cause the motor to vibrate if they are to far off on weight. I searched around the net before buying and have to say that iSaveTractors was the best deal out there. First time ordering and definitely will be ordering from iSaveTractors again.
