Electric Starter for Kohler K482, K532, K582 Engines

This is the 2nd (or third, I am losing track) time using this starter on a K582S. Cranks well, but the last two times I had to run a tap through one of the threaded holes to cut back metal on the black starter casing to let the bolt through. Additionally, this time I had to file out 2 holes on the cast iron pan ~ 1/16th to line up. I checked fit on an aluminum pan as well and that fit was off in a similar manner. Overall the starters work well, but take care as it may not be a simple drop in. I would purchase again, and I appreciate all that Norman does for the small engine community.
