carb was perfect fired up an engine that been sitting for many many years

Here's the scoop. Magnum 18 was running erratic and rich, hard starting hot, and just finally decided to give up. Feared a stuck valve or spent ignition, but decided to tackle the carb first. OEM is outrageously priced and didn't want a cheap chinese carb self-destructing on me. I gave this carb a whirl and my engine never sounded or ran better. Nice idle now too. Had to drill the throttle arm hole bigger to accept kohler plastic rod clip, but one shouldn't be working on engines if that is a hardship. This carburetor is well built and you can't go wrong!

installed it and tractor start up and ran good. I had to tweak the adjustments just a bit to get it perfect

I would buy from i save tractors again

Our 20 Horse Gravely has a rear mounted engine. The choke postion on ours is at 12:00. Had to use our rod because it needed to longer where the choke wire snapped in. Other then that when we got it all back together it started right up. Thanks again it hasn't run for 3yrs so this was a God send. And to add being a 52 yr. Old woman mostly did all the work myself.
