Carburetor for Kohler K582 Engine 4805306S

Modifying carb to use on Onan cckb.

The fitment of the carburetor was great, but it had no idle stop rest pin. When going from idle to high speed on thee wood chipper it blows black smoke out both mufflers. After reaching high speed it starts to miss like starving for fuel. Choking help so I think the jets are wrong for this application.

The carb bolted up cleanly & performed as it should, right out of the box! I am quite happy with this purchase, especially when comparing cost to OE!

So far it’s great I was told I couldn’t replace this carb and most parts suppliers showed no longer available but here we are and I am happy

No surprises. Was exactly what I expected.

my Kohler parts folks told me this carb was not available anywhere......... then I discovered I Save Tractors , product arrived in short order , unit bolted in place identical to old unit , throttle stop adjustment screw needed to be McGivered a bit but all in all fit well and tractor is plowing snow today. very pleased.

I was losing hope thinking I would never find this carburetor for an obsolete motor but they had it and it fits perfectly and performs great right out of the box! Now I know where to go for the hard-to-find items for restoration!
