    B&S points & condenser set

Posted by Henry K. Cooper on Sep 26th 2019

The condenser mount bracket contacts the insulated points bracket, if you don't trim it. This grounds out the condenser and kills the ignition system. I sent a message with pictures prior.

    One Issue

Posted by Richard on Jun 25th 2019

While these parts seem to be well made, there was one problem. The adjusting screw for the points is about an eighth of an inch shorter than the original screw. As a result, it was impossible to get the correct point gap (.020) using that screw. It would be completely backed out before the gap closed to the specification. I used my original screw.
